My Story

黃秀儀出生於美國波士頓。 自幼隨從於著名揚琴，鼓樂演奏家，教育家張鎮田老師學習揚琴和鼓樂，多年來在張老師的悉心栽培下，成為了有經驗的教師,為華人社區及各大學院演出上百次，深受 聽眾好評!

為了傳承弘揚中華優秀文化，發展了揚琴，鼓樂教育事業，透過音樂教育來增強兒童的社會發展和中美文化交流，培養孩子們的自信，集體精神，讓他們健康成長。

很高興能為中美文化交流繼續做出我的貢獻。

Starting at the age of 3, I studied the dulcimer and drum music from Teacher Zhang Zhentian, a famous Chinese dulcimer and drum professor.

Over the years, under Teacher Zhang’s careful guidance, I have become an experienced teacher, performing for the Chinese community and major colleges hundreds of times, which has been well received by the audience!

To continue spreading cultural awareness through my cultivated skill, I have developed my dulcimer and drum music education program. Through my music program, I will enhance children's social development and encourage cultural exchanges, cultivate children's self-confidence and collective spirit, and let them grow up healthily.

I firmly believe that anyone is capable of learning music and that music is not only a universal language but great for physical and mental health.
