Our Program
The dulcimer is an indispensable instrument in the traditional Chinese instrumental family. It is also the only global instrument among Chinese musical instruments.
Chinese drum music is a symbol of the long cultural history of the Chinese nation and a symbol of joy and celebration. It can also strengthen the body, acting as a form of exercise, aiding in stress relief for the body.
All interested parties are welcome to participate, regardless of age!
Our program offers lessons on the Chinese Hammered Dulcimer as well as a variety of Chinese percussion instruments with flexible scheduling!
Students have the opportunity to showcase their talents across the New England region, participating in performances featuring both dulcimer and drum.
Shirley also offers Chinese Hammered Dulcimer tunings/repairs.

Weekend Group Lessons
